It's unusual for me to spend more than 5 mins on this site at a time. Usually I look at the most recent deviations on my way to the DD's, and fav as needed. But today I decided to review some of the notifications in my inbox. I was really quite stricken by how many "thanks for the fav" messages there were. Do people actually take the time to thank people for fav'ing their work? That seems quite impractical. Most of them were so simple. They rarely exceeded 5 words, and were so generic it made me wonder whether or not deviant art has an automatic "thank you" message function. If not, they should probably put one in. I should think it'd be quit
